Talla en madera y piedra, cadena y soldadura de hierro.
Pacto social pone en relación dos cuerpos desiguales: uno de madera, más cálido, blando y maleable; otro de piedra, más frío, duro y resistente. La cadena que los une no resuelve esa diferencia, la hace visible. Hay en esa unión algo de acuerdo y algo de fuerza, una convivencia sostenida por tensión antes que por armonía.
La obra fue seleccionada en el Concurso de Artes Visuales 2017 del Fondo Nacional de las Artes e integró la muestra Una Comunidad Imaginada durante abril de 2018 en la Casa del Bicentenario (CABA).

Carved wood and stone, chain and welded iron.
Pacto social brings together two unequal bodies: one made of wood, warmer, softer and more malleable; the other made of stone, colder, harder and more resistant. The chain that binds them does not resolve that difference; it makes it visible. Within this union there is both agreement and force, a form of coexistence sustained by tension rather than harmony.
The work was selected for the 2017 Visual Arts Competition of the Fondo Nacional de las Artes and was part of the exhibition Una Comunidad Imaginada in April 2018 at Casa del Bicentenario, Buenos Aires.
